Aude Thema, PMHNP-BC

In her work with members, Aude applies Carl Rogers’ concept of unconditional positive regard, which is the basic acceptance and support of a person regardless of what the person says or does, especially in the context of therapy.

Aude believes that people are fueled toward self-realization. "My intention is to help and be there for them as they enhance their innate ability to grow."

When asked why she is practicing healthcare, she stated "Helping others is a very rewarding job. Seeing the progress and trust that can be built in collaborative care is imperative in my practice."

She has over 10 years of experience in nursing, mindfulness training, and EFT. Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Aude is always trying out new hobbies, including pottery, solo or partner dancing, weightlifting, crocheting, candle making, and macaron baking.
