About Dag Vandermeer, MD
Dr. Vandermeer has nearly 30 years of Family Medicine experience, with 22 of those years here in the Seattle area, as a part of the Providence Medical Group. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology at Tulane University before earning his M.D. at Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He then went to Hartford, CT for his internship and residency, at Hartford Hospital and St. Francis and John Dempsey Hospitals respectively.
Dr. Vandermeer believes in personalized, professional care for patients of all ages and feels compassion is what drew him to medicine. He loves the Sherlock Holmes investigative aspect of practicing family medicine. He is married with two sons, and has three generations of extended family here in the Northwest.
