"I find that healthcare has often separated physical health from the mental/emotional aspect of being a human out. When mental health is recognized as being a part of the whole person that is where healing can start. I enjoy coming from a more holistic approach and find that having a working knowledge of our biology and how our mind and body works together can provide us with an opportunity to give ourselves grace and learn ways to feel more balanced and in the driver's seat of our own lives.

I grew up on a working cattle farm in Eastern Washington and spent my time enjoying sports, raising animals, and outdoors activities. I have spent the last 15 years living in Western Washington where I have had the opportunity to raise my son, appreciate the beauty of nature and engage in creative projects. I love setting goals and achieving them, and have experienced the disappointment that can come from having to let go of an unachieved goal and feel stuck. Change is a part of life, yet it can be difficult and there can be a lot of grief that comes with that process. There is always hope. I have learned that asking for help is often very hard, yet necessary. It is a strength! I love working with people to validate and find their more authentic selves."
